Sharing is caring!

Since its release in November, OpenAI’s Chat GPT has generated considerable buzz. In contrast, Google has really ramped up their game as of late. The IT giant has announced its entry into the artificial intelligence market with the launching of Bard AI.

In order to have natural conversations with its users, Chat GPT is based on an artificial intelligence language model. This artificial intelligence can perform a wide variety of natural language processing (NLP) activities, including text summarization, language translation, and question answering.

Bard AI is an artificially intelligent chatbot that works similarly to Chat GPT but is based on Google’s LaMDA (Language Methodology for Dialogue Application) model. The internet-connected Bard model has a distinct advantage over its predecessor.

Chat GPT, on the other hand, relies heavily on the information it was taught. It’s likely you’ve already observed that Chat GPT can only tell you about things that happened before the year 2021.

This unique function, as stated by Google CEO Sundar Pichai, will “deliver new, high-quality solutions.” For this reason, many people believe that Bard will be more trustworthy than Chat GPT.

Furthermore, it seems that Google’s LaMDA model will need fewer server resources than OpenAI’s GPT 3.5 framework. Consequently, Bard AI has the ability to serve more consumers than Chat GPT.

Neither of these models deviates much from the other than in their underlying structure. It is not possible for the general public to use Google’s Bard AI just yet, but that will change this year.

Both models are equally capable of doing things like providing party suggestions, explaining complicated topics, and translating across languages.

Sundar Pichai has not yet revealed whether or whether Bard AI would have the capacity to create long text like Chat GPT. When the model finally comes out, this is definitely something to keep an eye out for.

What is Chat GPT?

Chat The GPT is a massive-scale language generation model that can produce text that is very close to human level. The system may be tweaked to perform a wide range of natural language processing tasks, including question answering, translation, and text summarization. While GPT is lauded for its capacity to produce comprehensible and contextually appropriate prose, it has also been shown to sometimes produce biassed or incoherent prose.

What is Google Bard?

A conversational AI driven by LaMDA, Google Bard was created by the search giant (Language Model for Dialogue Applications). Using its artificially intelligent chatbot Bard, Google hopes to merge human knowledge with the power, wit, and creativity of its enormous language models. In order to provide unique and accurate solutions, Bard will make use of the wealth of information accessible online. Currently in beta, Bard will be released to the public over the next several weeks.

Is Google’s Bard available?

Sorry to say, that’s not the case. The model is not yet accessible to the public, but Google has suggested that this may change in the coming weeks. Bard AI is currently being tested by a small group of outside users. Before making its product accessible to the general public, the technology giant aims to solicit input from early adopters.

Despite the fact that both Bard and Chat GPT are conversational AI models based on language, they were built for quite different purposes.

  • Bard will use information gathered from publicly accessible databases and other online resources. Bard will have access to the most up-to-date information, whereas Chat GPT’s knowledge is only good until 2021.
  • Bard’s integration with Google’s search engine and access to a wealth of data give it an advantage against Microsoft-backed Chat GPT.
  • Google’s Bard AI has a better reputation for presenting reliable information to users than Chat GPT, which is known to make up some of its own facts.
  • Bard AI has a leg up over other AI platforms like Chat GPT in terms of the amount and breadth of knowledge it can access because of Google’s massive data gathering.
  • In other words, Bard will be able to break down complex ideas into bite-sized pieces that are perfect for casual conversation. The objective is to disseminate information more broadly in a way that is easy to understand and may inspire curiosity and learning in everyone, including young children. Chat GPT, on the other hand, generates material based on the text input.

Bard Although artificial intelligence is not currently available to the general public, its future possibilities are exciting. Someday in the future, AI’s will compete to see which model can achieve the most success. With the widespread use of technologies like virtual personal assistants and smart home gadgets, the introduction of AI has already started to revolutionise our daily lives and places of employment. Despite these developments, the ethical and employment consequences of AI usage continue to be contentious. This is why it’s crucial for businesses to weigh the pros and downsides of AI use and make informed decisions about how to adopt these technologies safely and openly.
